Description
The LockMonitor monitors the database for blocking locks. TCAgent generates an alert when an identical blocking lock is detected during two consecutive task executions.
Usage Notes
The interval with which this task is scheduled is important. Blocking locks will either be missed or will endure longer than desirable if the task is scheduled too infrequently. Scheduling the task too frequently may result in the generation of spurious alerts. TwoCoast recommends that the task be run once every five or 10 minutes.
